Purpose
CQN is designed to act as an innovation hub, connecting NSF-funded research to multiple external partners, including startup companies, established industrial enterprises, Federal laboratories, and more. Many of these connections in the innovation ecosystem (IE) are made through the CQN Industrial Partnership Program (IPP), which is open to companies of all sizes, including faculty spinouts. The objective of the IPP and the Strategic Partnerships and Innovation office is to establish an innovation ecosystem that will continue to thrive beyond the lifetime of the ERC.
Membership Tiers
The IPP is structured into four membership tiers.
* Bronze membership is reserved for government agencies, not-for-profits, FFRDCs, venture capital firms, etc. ‡ All members may adjust cash, in-kind, and IP license credits with the approval of the Center Director.
